The best day ever

If I could choose, anyone, instinctively it would be you. The way you felt so good that day and night. And how you held my cheeks firmly just to peer into my eyes, just to tell me, 'Think logically, I am leaving you for good, and this is neither the time nor the place for love.' I felt more than your warm saliva on my tongue and the smooth texture of lips and the gritty nature of tongues. I felt your essence penetrating my body to the point that my words melted into breaths of your name. 'Please take your time with this,' I pleaded. You smiled, held my cheeks again, and urged me to be rational with my heart. I think back to that day, and of all the best days I've had, but that was the best. Yes, that was the best day I've ever had.
